If I was going to give you a list of really obvious choices such as: Cinderella, Jason Voorhees, and Harry Potter, then there would be no point in making this list at all. For your October 31st enjoyment, here is a list of five possible costume ideas that are easy and exciting:
#1 It’s easy to don a mask and a cape and call yourself Batman. But for the ambitious with a vicious streak may I recommend going as Two-Face from the comic book, neon-colored world of Batman Forever? With colorful pink paint and animal print, there’s no way that this could possibly go wrong.
#2 I’m sure someone, somewhere has done this, but if not, now is the time. Get five friends together and go as the group from The Breakfast Club because there is a little jock, princess, basket case, rebel, and nerd in us all.
#3 Why not embrace your femme fatale and go with a costume inspired by Zack Snyder’s girls-with-machine guns flick Sucker Punch? Creepy men calling you “Baby Doll” or “Sweet Pea” is part of the territory.
#4 More people need to see this movie since it is so great, but there are a plethora of costume choices if you decide to go as Hanna from the pulsating fairy-tale movie Hanna. Wear a fur coat, have a bow and arrows, and be prepared to repeatedly tell people that you are not an eskimo.
#5 All you need is some glow sticks and a black change of clothing to pull off the rave-cool look of Garrett Hedlund or Olivia Wilde in the Disney film Tron: Legacy. Make a forgettable movie more memorable by lighting up the evening.
