Doing things is hard; putting a movie in is easy and you won’t have to worry about saying the wrong thing. So here is a list of some good school themed movies to remind you that all problems have easy solutions and because you deserve a break after all that homework.

Go inside the secret lives of cheerleaders. There are popular girls waving pom poms and talking shit like, “She puts the duh in dumb,” making it a little ridiculous, but very funny. It may not be exactly like your school, but it has some great one-liners.
Let this be a lesson not to pick on the quiet kid in the back of classroom, or else he or she will kill you with telekinetic powers. Also, don’t throw pigs blood on the prom queen.
Romeo + Juliet:
This has nothing to do with school, but you’ll have to read the play anyway, so why not enjoy Leonardo DiCaprio wearing a Hawaiian shirt in the process? This has the original dialogue, but a very modern setting, which is weird, but effective.
A new kid moves into town and fights the authorities to win the respect of his peers and gain the right to dance! After a tragic accident, the town puts a ban on dancing and this crazy rock n roll music, and Kevin Bacon is the last hope of getting a senior prom.
Before you pledge, remember that the bond of sisterhood/brotherhood may force you into committing murder. And if you do, there’ll be a hooded figure with a tire iron waiting for revenge.
Whether the popular girls at your school are called Plastics, Mani-Pedis, or Tramp Stamps, you can effortlessly enjoy this modern comedy of high school life. Weren’t those days the best?
